Macro Friday

Hello Friday! Another weekend is upon us and I couldn't be happier. Not sure what the weekend has in store for the family and me but can't wait to find out. So I tried to NOT post a picture of a flower or a plant. This is one of my vintage cameras. Thought it made for a cool shot. Different than what I've been posting, if nothing else.

I have five. Every time I go past an antique shop, I stop and look for them. However, I can't afford many of the ones I find.

Good question.... LOL. My mom had a nice camera growing up and took a couple of photography classes. I always kinda thought that was cool. And I've always loved taking pictures and having pictures of friends & family. I was very young when I got my first camera. But I think my love for photography started years ago when I found this old Brownie camera in my great-grandmother's garage - still in the original box. For whatever reason, I was so intrigued with this camera I asked her if I could have it. Since then I've been pretty much in love with it, though I didn't get real serious about it until Keegan was born (4 1/2 years ago). Nothing like having a child to create some inspiration. I have 5 vintage cameras now. I always look for them anytime I find myself near an antique store. Although some can be quite pricey so I usually just grab the cheap broken ones. But they look cool in my office. LOL!
