miscellany monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

It's Monday. Blah.  I'm already behind.  I should already have laundry going and coffee brewing but I can't seem to kick it in gear.  However, I am going to crank out this post to link up with the lovely Carissa at lowercase letters.  Off we go with some randomness...

{ONE}  My baby girl turned 18 months old over the weekend.  I can't figure out where the time is going.  June already?  I need to take her somewhere and do a little photo shoot to mark the milestone.

{TWO}  My husband and I bought a boat Saturday.  It's practically brand new - really nice and we're terribly excited to be able to be on the water this summer.

{THREE}  I have discovered that my daughter will eat anything with mustard.  If she seems to not like something, put a little mustard on her plate and she'll eat every last crumb.

{FOUR}  I was finally able to sit down at the sewing machine last night for a bit and crank out a little craftiness.  I'm really excited to show it to y'all.  I think it turned out good for being a novice sewer.

{FIVE}  We are heading to the big town of Hopkinsville, KY this weekend for my husband's 20th high school reunion.  My parents will be keeping the kiddos and this will be my first overnight stay away from my baby girl.  This means my 20 year reunion is right around the corner.  20 years!  REALLY?!?! How did I get here?

To read more randoms or link up some of your own, head over to lowercase letters by clicking the logo above.

Now, I can't NOT have coffee any longer.  Off to hook up my IV drip.

My son, Brennan, loves mustard sandwiches. That's right. Whole wheat bread slathered with mustard. For lunch. I just smile. And try to at least add some cheese.

Congrats on the boat~ I'm sure you'll have a great time working on your tan! And that is funny about mustard. I love it but I can't get my littles to eat it!

Can't wait to see what you've crafted! Have a great day!

Rachel, that's too funny. I'm glad my kid isn't the only one with a mustard fetish, though.

Thanks, girl! Yeah, I'm a mustard girl, too. But I think it's hilarious that Presley loves it so much.

Hope you have a great one as well!

A boat! How fun! I love being on the water, too...so relaxing.

I can't believe she likes mustard. My kids won't touch it. But, whatever works, right?

We got a boat a couple summers ago and it's been really fun. I bet you will have many adventures this summer in that thing.

So enjoyed stopping by, this is my first "miscellany monday" and I love it! I think Mustard is something you have to "grow" into. :o) Enjoy the reunion, it won't be long until you will be celebrating 40 years like me!

18 months is such a cute age! My husband's family use to own a sailboat and we loved taking it out, although I would get sick from time to time :-) I envy anyone who can sew. I have a hard enough time sewing on a button. Hope you have a great Monday!

Barbie, thanks. 18 months is fun. She's learning all kinds of words, but she's also developing that little 2 year old attitude. Humph. I'm just learning to sew but so far I'm having fun learning!

That's right - whatever works. I'm a mustard girl myself. It's funny, though. Yes, the boat is a nice addition. We're happy to have one again.

LOL my daughter eats anything with ketchup. I don't know why. My youngest despises ketchup. Two very different kids with very different tastes! Me, I was always a ketchup nut, but I love mustard too. (Oh and i'm a bbq sauce addict!)

Happy 18th month-day to your little one! The time FLIES! Mine are almost 5 and almost 3 already.

I got your link from Monday Miscellany! I'm now following you and hope you can stop by my blog and read my Monday Miscellany too!
